I have been a co-opted governor at Woodley since September 2019. My 2 daughters both attended the school and I regularly helped out in the classrooms when they were in foundation & Key Stage 1. I was also an active member of the PTFA helping run events throughout the year.
My background is Hospitality Management so becoming a school governor was never something I had considered, however, since joining the board I feel privileged to be able to give something back to the school who have given so much to my children and to be part of a team of governors who are supportive and focused on achieving the best for the school and the community.
Term: 12/09/2023 – 11/09/2027. Appointed by Governing Board.
