I have two children of my own aged 12 and 9, my eldest has a special educational need/disability. I qualified as a primary teacher in 2006 and have spent the majority of my years in the classroom teaching in Key Stage 1.
I am passionate about providing children with high quality education and a wide range of opportunities. I believe that children need varied and engaging experiences that fully immerse them in their learning to enable them to succeed and achieve their full potential. I am currently undertaking further training about brain development which is further cementing my passion for experiential learning in primary schools.
