Woodley Primary School is dedicated to inclusivity, encouraging all children to fully develop their skills and interests. At our school we strive to create an inclusive teaching environment that offers all pupils a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum. We are committed to offering all pupils the chance to thrive and fulfil their aspirations.
We will strive to achieve this through quality first teaching and by making reasonable adjustments to teaching, the curriculum and the school environment to make sure that pupils with SEND are included in all aspects of school life.

Within school, we also have our SEND Officer, Rhiannon Bray, who works with Mrs Hibbert to support children across the school with additional needs.
Mrs Bray monitors the SENCO email account and may follow up on your query.
Primary schools always endeavour to meet the needs of individual children and most will find their needs can be met within a mainstream school. Some children, however, may have additional needs which require additional support; for example when children have a learning difficulty or a disability that means they find it harder to learn than other children in their age group. Children can have a range of needs, including physical or sensory difficulties, language difficulties and emotional/behavioural difficulties. The network of services that work with schools in Stockport means that each child’s needs can be addressed with additional support to overcome the barriers they face.
